A three‑piece SABA mini hi‑fi system from 1982, comprising MI 350, MT 350 and CD 350, 35 cm wide, in excellent physical condition and tested and working.
Description from the seller
The SABA mini hi-fi system was renovated in 2023, during which the mechanics of the cassette recorder units received fresh lubrication and the same belts as the factory ones.
The amplifier unit and the radio were also professionally maintained.
I also performed a full test and inspection.
It will be shipped carefully packaged!
"The Saba MI 350, MT 350, and CD 350 form a mini-sized (35 cm wide) hi-fi component system released by the German company Saba in the early 1980s (around 1981-1982).
Overview
These components were part of the Saba "HiFi-Serie 350", which represented quality contemporary German audio technology in a compact format. The series also included a CSP 350 turntable.
Detailed Description
MI 350 (Integrated Amplifier): This model was a solid-state integrated amplifier with compact dimensions of 35 x 6.5 x 24 cm (width x height x depth). Its main features included tone controls, a "loudness" function, LED power indicators, and connections for two pairs of speakers, two tape decks, one line input, and a phono input (suitable for both MM and MC cartridges).
MT 350 (Digital Tuner): This was a digital PLL synthesizer tuner (radio receiver), also measuring 35 x 6.5 x 24 cm. It featured a digital display with station memories and was capable of receiving FM/AM (VHF/MW) frequencies.
CD 350 (Soft Touch Cassette Deck): This component was a cassette deck with "Soft Touch" controls, which was slightly taller than the other units, measuring 35 x 12.5 x 24 cm.
These units were available in a silver color ("neusilber") and remain popular among collectors of vintage hi-fi equipment today. Saba equipment from that era is generally known for its good quality and durability."
