Description from the seller

Ancient and renowned high-carbon steel alloy, originating from southern India (Chera kingdom), known for its extraordinary sharpness and characteristic 'wavy' or 'Jacob's ladder' patterns, known as 'damasco' pattern. It is a Mamluk-type sword from the Indian subcontinent, with a curved blade, sharp on the convex side and solid back (lacking the typical scimitar's back cut), and a one-handed grip.
The handle is straight, with a small crosier guard and a solid central part.

Total size 90 cm.
It belongs to a private collection.
Attention: ONLY FOR the EU! No shipments outside the European Union.
