Measurements: 65 × 100 cm
Support / Mounting: Canvas stretched over a frame.
Signature in the lower left corner: Ramon Pichot
Date: ca. 1975–1985
It has no frame.
Condition: Excellent. The canvas is firm and well stretched, with a stable paint layer, free of craquelure or overpainting. The color retains all its original freshness.

Large-scale work with an elegant Mediterranean atmosphere, depicting the calm bay of Cadaqués with its characteristic white hillside houses facing the sea and boats floating on violet-blue water filled with reflections.

Ramón Pichot Soler was a Barcelona-born painter dedicated almost entirely to the Mediterranean landscape, especially Cadaqués and the Costa Brava. Trained in the post-war period, he inherited the tradition of Catalan luminism and Impressionist sensibility.

Her work is characterized by a fresh palette, vibrant light, loose brushwork, and a serene, intimate, and honest atmosphere.

He exhibited in Catalan galleries, and his work is part of collections in Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
