Description from the seller
Ancient Roman Hematite Magical Gem. Ouroboros encircling a uterus-symbol with fallopian tubes, above a group of standing deities. Inscription outside the Ouroboros and inscription in two lines on the back: επιπ|οδια → ἐπί ποδία. 'Stand up!’. Most probably the gem is intended to hasten childbirth, ca 3rd century AD, ca. 3,1 cm.
