Ceramic lamp base with blue-gold decor, Herda, Netherlands, circa 1970–1985.
Ceramic lamp base in vase shape with rich blue, gray, and gold-colored decoration featuring floral motifs. The decoration is executed in transfer printing with gold accents. Design, material use, and finish are characteristic of European interior lighting from the second half of the 20th century.
The lamp base is equipped with a Herda Verlichting sticker. Herda designed and assembled his lamps in the Netherlands and had the ceramic base produced at specialized European ceramic ateliers.
Equipped with a thick fitting and brass rod, matching quality lighting from the 1970s–1980s. Height adjustable.
