Description from the seller
7 stunning handcrafted crystal wine glasses from the 'Jessie of Casperia' series.
Door -De Kvetna- glassblowing from Czechia made in the 70s/80s.
It is made of lead-free crystal, and the shape and cuts are handcrafted. The upper rim is also handmade and decorated with a 17 mm wide hand-painted decoration in 24kt gold.
The height is approximately 18 cm; foot diameter is 7.6 cm, and bowl diameter is 7.4 cm.
The weight varies from 189 grams to 227 grams per glass.
The total weight is approximately 1130 grams.
Because the glasses are handmade, there are differences in size and weight.
Although the decoration and the model are identical, there are two glasses.
A gold-colored top and bottom border, while the remaining five are slightly redder in color.
The Kvetna glassblowing factory is one of the oldest in the Czech Republic.
It was founded by Prince Alois of Liechtenstein in 1794. Initially, they mainly produced user glass, and from the mid-19th century onwards, the production of fine crystal glass began. The name Kvetna(Blumenbach) became a symbol of quality.
These 7 glasses are an example of art and craftsmanship.
