Luciano Coratti was born on December 13, 1930, in Ferrara. The eldest of four brothers, he was orphaned at the age of
Thirteen years.

Endowed with a natural talent for drawing and attracted to painting, he enrolls in an art school.
He has exhibited since 1960 and, at the end of the 1960s, moved to Bologna with his mother and sister, continuing
his artistic training as part of the 'Studio F' group.
Bologna continues his artistic activity by creating numerous paintings, particularly some portraits on
commission
Between 1978 and 1983, he participated in various exhibitions at the national level, winning several awards, most recently the
Golden Pantheon of the art of Rome.
A serious illness temporarily halts him, but his passion for painting drives him to resume quickly.

He works on his paintings tirelessly until 1994, the year of his death.
