Description from the seller
Pair of blown and engraved glass oil and vinegar dispensers.
Hand-blown glass
Acid-etched decor (botanical motifs and scrollwork)
Mid-20th century (circa 1950–1960) France
Description
Elegant pair of oil and vinegar bottles in transparent glass, hand-blown and decorated with a delicate acid-etched pattern consisting of scrolls and stylized floral elements.
Each piece features a baluster body resting on a thick circular base, a typical spout pinched like those found on oil cruets, and a handle applied hot. The glass stoppers, cut into a drop shape, are original and perfectly fitted.
A discreet handwritten marking with numbers is visible on the edges of the coins, as well as on the caps, probably serving as a workshop mark or a serial indicator.
State
Good overall condition
Note: slight signs of use and micro-scratches consistent with the item's age, as well as small irregularities related to handcrafted manufacturing (bubbles, variations in thickness).
No shine, no flaw, no break.
Caps present and original.
Remarque
A set of 20th-century table glassware, both decorative and functional, suitable for everyday use or collection.
