Mushroom "Fog eater" mask - Nepal (No reserve price)
Old Nepalese mask carved from a mushroom.
This type of mask is called a "fog-eater". They were hung in homes for protection.
The idea was that they could ward off fog in the mountains; as fog was dangerous when one had to go outside.
