Pierangelo Benetollo (Sonico, July 23, 1964) is an Italian painter, an exponent of hyperrealism.
He graduated from the Lovere Art High School and later from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, where he studied with masters such as Saverio Terruso and Raffaele De Grada.
In 1987, he graduated with a thesis on the iconographic aspects of Camun Rock Art.
He lives and works in Sonico, in Valle Camonica. His first solo exhibition was in 1982. Style and Works.
His style is defined as 'magical hyperrealism.' He mainly depicts urban scenes, suburbs, and industrial landscapes, characterized by meticulous details and intense lighting that amplifies reality. He predominantly uses acrylic on canvas or panel.
His/Her works have been exhibited in numerous galleries, including the Il Melograno Art Gallery in Livorno and the Galleria Gelmi.
