Description from the seller
Offered for auction: the legendary FujiFilm HD-M, one of the most robust 35mm compact cameras ever made. Introduced in 1984, the 'HD-M' stands for Heavy Duty Motor, referring to the fully motorized film transport in a weatherproof housing.
This camera was promoted as the ideal companion for construction sites, mountain climbing, and adventurous trips. Thanks to its rubber seals and shock-resistant construction, it is officially waterproof up to a depth of 2 meters (note: vintage cameras may have lost their full waterproofing due to aging of the seals).
The camera was tested and still works well, with both the flash and transport functioning immediately during the test.
Main features
Lens: High-quality Fujinon 38mm f/2.8 lens (4 elements in 3 groups), known for its sharpness and contrast.
Focus: Manual zone focusing with clear icons (portrait, group, landscape) visible in the viewfinder.
Lighting: Fully automatic lighting with an EV range of 6 to 17 (ISO 100).
Film transport: Built-in motor for automatic loading, pulling through, and rewinding of the film.
ISO range: manually adjustable from 100 to 1600 ISO.
