Bronze Age, bronze socketed spearhead with a long tapering blade. The hollow socket was designed for attachment to a wooden shaft.
Length: ± 154,4 mm
Condition: good and solid condition, appealing olive-green patina. Signs of wear consistent with age and use. The display stand is for photographic purposes only and is not included in the sale.
Certificate of Authenticity (PDF) is available upon request for lots with a hammer price of €100 or higher.
Weapons of this type were used both for hunting and warfare throughout the later Bronze Age, representing a key development in metal weapon technology.
