Winter in Austrian Alps is an oil painting landscape by Austrian artist Max Pistorius (1894–1960), created in the 1940–1950 period, signed, framed in the original period frame, in good condition, Austria.

Winter landscape in Austrian Alps was created in early 1930s by listed Austrian landscape and portrait artist Max (Maximilian Friedrich) Pistorius (1894 - Vienna - 1960).Since 1927 he formed himself autodidactically as a painter. He has portraits in the Rector´s Gallery of the Technical University in Vienna and an altar painting "The Holy Theresa on the Deathbed" from 1936, in the church in Vienna´s 16th district. His landscapes and Vienna views situated in Historical Museum of Vienna and Province Museum in Linz. He created a gallery of famous Austrian surgeons for Honor Hall of Chicago University .
