Late 19th / Early 20th Century Elegant antique Swiss pocket watch featuring a classic anchor (lever) escapement movement with 15 ruby jewels and a Breguet hairspring, as engraved inside the dust cover: “Ancre – Ligne droite – 15 rubis The movement is finely finished with gilt plates and shows traditional Swiss craftsmanship of the period. The watch runs and ticks (timekeeping accuracy not tested over long periods). The silver case is hallmarked 0.800 and stamped ARGENT 0.800, with additional maker’s marks inside the case back. Case number:138701 The exterior back cover is engine-turned and engraved with a decorative cartouche and an old monogram, adding to its historical charm. The white enamel dial features Roman numerals, outer minute track, and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. Original ornate hands are present. Dial shows light age-related wear consistent with its age, without major cracks.
