Urformen Der Kunst (The Original Art Form) is a book of plant photographs by Karl Blossfeldt that had a huge influence on architecture.

Bloosfeldt embarks on an extraordinary adventure that will become personal and artistic over about thirty years: creating an inventory of plant structures by cataloging the various shapes and patterns of plants, foliage, stems, tendrils, roots, and the multitude of botanical schemes visible or less visible to the naked eye.
