Devilline is a copper and calcium sulfate mineral. It is a rare and unusual secondary mineral found in the oxidized portions of copper sulfide ore deposits. It was named in 1872 by Félix Pisani in honor of Henri Étienne Sainte-Claire Deville French chemist [1818–1881].
