Dual 1229 – Automatic turntable with 3 speeds – Shure DM 103 M-E with Shure Hi-track, still in very good condition with excellent sound quality. It features the rare original optional smoked cover in very good condition, with no cracks or tears; this cover can be opened in 3 ways. It is originally made of full wood, with an option to open the front for extra parts and accessories to play different records.

Iconic high-end turntable from the German brand Dual, the 1229 is one of the most refined models of the brand. Made in the early 1970s, it is known for its precise mechanics, the hanging tonearm, and the heavy platter that provides remarkable stability. Today, it is an indispensable reference for vintage vinyl enthusiasts.

General condition
This unit is as good as new and is in very good working condition: all speeds are stable, the automation functions properly, and the arm returns perfectly. Aesthetically, it is well maintained, with a slight scratch visible in the middle of the mat (without affecting usage). It has been fully inspected and fitted with a new O ring arm. These are genuine Collectors and are highly sought after.
