Charles Schneider A wonderful pair of French art deco wall sconces made around 1930. The solid brass mounts hold beautiful shades in clear frosted molded-pressed glass made by Charles Schneider. The shades are signed Schneider France 406. This nice and searched after model is known under the name of "corniche aux libellules" (slip shade the Dragonflies). The sconces are 33 cm high 17 cm wide and 17,5 cm deep. They are in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the mounts. The fixtures are wired with American candelabra base sockets. For European countries I will place E14 ones. On catawiki my listings have low reserve prices. I offer no aftersales when the reserve is not met.
