Antique theater binoculars, probably from the late 19th century.
Materials: Made of brass with mother-of-pearl coating.
Function: Used by spectators, often in the stalls, to better observe the stage and actors.
Style: Objects similar to those produced by LeRoy of France were popular during the Victorian era, often used as status symbols.
Details: Features a central focusing wheel and a folding side handle (lorgnette).
Approximately 12 cm long.
