The boxes of these columns have been restored and lacquered in white. Everything else is original. I do not have the lids (although they are easy to make with a minimally skilled carpenter; I can provide the black fabric).

Sound-wise, they are quite efficient and can play very loudly without losing clarity. These speakers have a balanced and neutral sound, as well as a clean tone, and do not cause auditory fatigue even during long listening sessions. They are pleasing to the ear. They tell us what we want to hear!

I wouldn't call them 'studio monitors,' despite the many details they convey to us. 'Speakers for parties' seems more appropriate, given their ability to play loudly. However, there's no need to crank up the volume for them to deliver excellent detail, full mids, and deep bass.

Finally, and this is just a personal opinion, this renovation of the wooden elements painted white has given them a freshness that makes them charming.
