Legendary and robust class A Marantz PM80 features a switchable Class A/AB output stage. This allows you to choose between the very best performance (Class A) or badass output power (Class AB). Ideal for when you're unwinding alone while playing your favorite singer-songwriter, or need to let off steam with some heavy rock records. The PM80 can do both. There's no shortage of inputs either. There are two tape and one aux input for connecting all conceivable sources. Not only is this amplifier incredibly versatile, it also sounds like a true Marantz: magnificent! A great deal of attention has also been paid to the MM/MC switchable phono stage. Compared to the original version, the STK voltage amplifier has been replaced by discrete transistors, making the design not only more robust but also better-sounding.
Cosmetically, this beautiful Marantz is still in mint condition.
