Rare : Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) Deleted soup-eating scene happy animation drawing - Walt Disney

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs : Deleted Soup Eating Scene Happy Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937) + CERTIFICATE It is a rare one for collectors! A 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing of Happy from the deleted soup eating scene! The full sequence dwarfs enjoyed Snow's soup after cleaning up to a new song, "Music in Your Soup", led by Happy. The sequence was ultimately cut because Disney felt it made the dwarfs bathing sequence too long. One of Disney's "Nine Old Men" Ward Kimball (1914 - 2002) animated many of the scenes in this sequence and the (also deleted) bed building sequence. He was understandably upset that his main sequences were cut after months of work and was given the chance to animate Jiminy Cricket in Pinocchio for his trouble. After almost making a reappearance in Snow White Returns, the deleted sequence was made available to watch in bonus features and online. The exceptional graphite drawing of Happy can be found starting at about 3:03 when watching online after Dopey swallows a bar of soap. A chance to own a piece of Disney history that never made it to the big screen! The paper used by Disney studios in the 1920s-1930s contains a distinctive watermark, visible in one of the photos, which further attests to its authenticity. Size : 30 x 25 cm The drawing is sold with a certificate of authenticity including 4 levels of security.
