Description from the seller
Vehicle Overview
Chevrolet Corvette C3 – Year of manufacture: 1977
Color: Gold
Technical condition: Normal – the vehicle is in good running condition and has been regularly maintained.
Maintenance Condition of Engine and Mechanics
The engine and mechanical systems are in working order. The car starts and runs well, with no unusual noises. The transmission shifts smoothly, and the suspension feels solid. Regular oil changes and basic mechanical upkeep have been carried out. Brakes, steering, and cooling systems are functional.
Body and Paint Condition
The body is in very good condition for its age. The gold paint presents nicely with no major blemishes. There are no visible scratches or dents, and the surface retains a consistent shine. Minor signs of aging may be present, but overall the paint does not require any touch-up or correction. Undercarriage is clean and free from significant corrosion.
Vehicle History (Carfax, Restorations, Invoices, etc.)
The car has had several owners in the past, and its history is partially documented. There is no record of any major accidents. Some invoices and service records are available, showing consistent care. Original service booklets are not complete but some stamps from previous services are included. The vehicle has not undergone a full restoration but has received maintenance and minor cosmetic work over time.
Non-Original or Missing Parts
The car is mostly original. Notable non-original parts include aftermarket wheels and an upgraded radio/stereo system. Some interior trim pieces have been refurbished or replaced over time. The original air filter housing has been replaced with a chrome aftermarket unit.
Known Issues or Defects
The car has no critical mechanical faults but does have some minor age-related issues. The fuel gauge is not always accurate, and the power windows operate slowly. A small oil seepage is visible from the lower engine area but does not affect drivability.
Classic Car Certification
The car has not yet received any official classic car certification (such as FIVA, ASI, or Classic Data), but given its mostly original condition and good appearance, it would be a suitable candidate for evaluation and certification.
Country of Origin
Originally sold in the United States.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
