Pen drawing of a water landscape by Abraham Hulk (1813–1897), a 19th‑century Dutch Romantic marine painter, signed lower left, mounted on a larger sheet, 14.5 × 20.5 cm, 200 g, in excellent condition, origin Netherlands.
Description from the seller
Abraham Hulk is a talented marine painter.
He studied at the Amsterdam Academy and was taught by the portrait painter J.A. Daiwaille. Abraham Hulk began, entirely in the style of his master, with painting portraits, but developed into a very skilled marine painter from the Romantic School. His atmospheric compositions featuring Dutch sailing ships at sea were especially popular. Hulk made several trips abroad to America and returned to his birthplace, London, after 1870. His work can be seen, among other places, in the Teylers Museum in Haarlem.

This lot consists of a very fine pencil drawing of a water scene. Signed bottom left.
The drawing is mounted on a larger sheet.
