Description from the seller

This Japanese vintage knife set consists of a Yanagiba and a Nakiri, two classic forms from Japanese cuisine, loved for their precision and cutting comfort. Both knives are sharp and ready to use, with a beautiful, honest patina that testifies to their age and use.

The Yanagiba (total length approx. 40 cm) is long and slender, ideal for precise cutting of fish and fine slices, such as for sashimi. The blade tapers elegantly and offers excellent control during pulling cuts.

The Nakiri (total length of approximately 31 cm) features a straight, wide blade and is perfect for vegetables and fine chopping. The knife cuts straight and efficiently, typical of traditional Japanese culinary work.

Both knives have wooden handles and blades with visible maker's marks. An authentic set for enthusiasts of Japanese knives, vintage kitchenware, or handcrafted steel.
