Description from the seller

Vintage Sabino Paris opalescent art glass centerpiece plate/bowl from the 1920s-1930s. This lovely centerpiece is decorated with six swallows in flight, molded in relief on the bottom of the plate in a light blue color. The glass has a rich opalescence, typical of Sabino's early pieces. Marked "Sabino, Paris" in relief in the center (see photo number). Sabino (1879-1961) was an Italian-born Parisian who developed his own chemical formula for glass, which has a frosted appearance and, when exposed to light, the molded design gives off a golden opalescent glow. This centerpiece is one of his earliest creations and is now difficult to find. Style: It is an iconic Art Deco piece. Size: 19.7 cm
