You are bidding on a very fine 4/4 violin, labeled Hannibal Fagnola fecit Taurini anno Domini 1935 HFT.
The instrument remains in good condition with no cracks. The whole length of the violin is 592 mm and the back 356 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 170 mm; middle bouts: 116 mm; lower bouts: 210 mm.
Materials: very nice two pieces narrow flamed maple back and straight medium grained spruce top. Golden-amber varnish. New ebony set up. New strings and new bridge. The sound is very good, powerful, deep and rich. For any further questions feel free to contact me.
