First edition, 1902, in French, by Gustave Eiffel, titled La Tour Eiffel en 1900, 363 pages, with 11 plates outside the text and 103 figures in the text.

Original edition of a notable work dedicated to the Lady of Iron, providing all information about the Tower up to 1900, including the modifications made but excluding overly technical details.
Illustrated with 11 plates outside the text: 1 frontispiece, 1 engraved portrait, 2 heliogravure views of Paris, 6 folding plates, as well as 1 very large folding map of the Paris surroundings indicating the visible points from the top of the Eiffel Tower.
The work is also illustrated with 103 figures in the text.
Full cloth Bordeaux publisher, titled on the back and the front cover, triple cold framing on the covers.
Condition: Scuffs on the caps, flat surfaces, and cuts of the flat areas. Interior is fresh, with rare foxing, and a floating plate. Good specimen.
The publication of this work follows the release of the monumental monograph La Tour de 300 mètres (two in-folio volumes) and the scientific reports carried out at La Tour de 300 mètres, publications not released commercially.
