Antique Caucasian rug Lori Pambak from the first half of the twentieth century, woven with wool on wool, with an ivory-colored warp and a red-colored weft; a very fine, medium-height, medium-density velvety pile from the Ghiordesh knot; very shiny and soft wool; vivid yet harmonious colors, with a contrasting border in light colors; the stylistic layout features the usual octagonal medallion, richly decorated with hooks along the perimeter, with small squares arranged on the sides of the medallions, which internally contain work combs, and an eight-pointed star in the center; palm motifs are arranged at the four corners and along the sides of the three medallions; three very rich borders, with the central one in light color decorated with rosettes, tracery, and petals; well-knotted fringes, well-preserved edges; from the first half of the 20th century, in excellent condition; dimensions 166 x 303 cm; private property; careful and insured shipping.
