Pokémon Folder with Poste Italiane.
Folder Pokémon, also known as the Tourist Series - Pokémon, are collectible philatelic folders published by Poste italiane between 2021 and 2022. They are also part of the 'Tourist Series' stamp collection, a thematic series focused on the natural and scenic heritage of various Italian cities known for tourism. The folders were released with licenses from Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and GAME FREAK. The series includes a total of eight folders inspired by the starter Pokémon from the first to the eighth generation, along with Pikachu.
In 2021, Poste Italiane celebrated the 25th anniversary of Pokémon by launching special philatelic products at Lucca Comics and Games and in other cities, including folders dedicated to Pokémon regions such as Kanto, Johto, and others.
The first four folders of the collection were initially distributed during Lucca Comics & Games 2021, from October 29 to November 1, 2021, as an exclusive of the fair, then made available nationwide from November 5, 2021, through all Poste Italiane philatelic counters and online on the Poste Italiane philately website. The second part was distributed nationwide on February 26, 2022, through all Poste Italiane philatelic counters and online on the Poste Italiane philately website, for a total of 8 folders.
Each folder has a limited edition of only 2000 copies.
The format is an A4 landscape with two covers.
These 2021/22 products are now part of Poste Italiane's philatelic history, in perfect condition and destined to increase in value over time.
