Description from the seller

Philippines. 1 Peso. 1964.

Value: 1 Peso.
Year: 1964.
Inscription: APOLINARIO MABINI CENTENARY · NATIONAL HERO · 1864 · 1964; CENTRAL BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES · ONE PESO · REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES.
- Rating: Without circular.

Commemorative issue dedicated to the centenary of Apolinario Mabini, a prominent intellectual and leader of the Philippine independence. The obverse features a highly expressive portrait, with the legend 'National Hero' and the dates 1864–1964 integrated in a balanced manner within the field. The reverse maintains the same official scheme with the national coat of arms and the indication of the issuing bank and the face value, reinforcing series uniformity. It is a very attractive set due to its historical character and the quality of the engraving, especially in the features of the bust and the definition of the coat of arms.

Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to make it absolutely clear that I ship from Spain. This means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside the EU that has a special tax agreement (for example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs, and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and is completely out of our control. Thank you for your understanding.
