Beogram 1902, manufactured in 1977 (serial number 1492109), is in excellent physical condition and tested and working.
Description from the seller
In 1977, the 1902 comes up for sale, another beautiful design by Jacob Jensen. This player has a stable DC motor, servo-controlled, and therefore extremely precise in speed. However, after 47 years, some maintenance is necessary, so the capacitors have been replaced, as well as the speed controllers for 33 and 45 RPM. This should always be done, but most turntables of this age are sold tested and working. That’s all there is to say about that; a long lifespan is then unlikely. The new belt will last many more years.
The woodwork is often in poor condition after about 50 years; I have my own woodworking facilities and will take care of new side panels, in this case, white.
This player is therefore a good investment and not just an expense after purchase. The needle and the cartridge are included with this turntable, and have been tested and found to be OK. See the latest photos for the revision. There is no reserve price; the knowledgeable buyer knows what a Beovintage-revised turntable is worth.
The above work has been carried out by me, Beovintage. I have nearly 60 years of experience with B&O as a former dealer, salesperson, and technician. Am I doing it right??? Just look at my 100% review score, and you'll know enough.
