Authentic frame attributed to Jacques Adnet
A very beautiful and large table frame attributed to Jacques Adnet, a unique and extremely rare piece, featuring his black and white portrait with an original photograph, acquired many years ago at auction.
Perhaps this frame with its photograph belonged to his family, as the photograph of Jacques Adnet was inside the frame when I acquired it.
This exquisite frame is made of iron and brass and rests on three gilded ball feet.
The border of the photograph has been restored due to some wear and tear; the subject's face remains intact.
Dimensions of the frame with the photograph: 36.5 cm x 30 cm.
