Taperstick (2) - Bronze - Napoleon III

Elegant pair of Napoleon III period candle holders, dating from the second half of the 19th century (around 1860-1880).
These candlesticks are distinguished by their slender proportions, their finely turned baluster stems resting on a wide circular base ensuring excellent stability.
Made of gilded bronze, they offer a beautiful warm gilding, with an elegant patina acquired over time. The work is regular, symmetrical, and of good quality, typical of decorative objects from the Second Empire intended for bourgeois interiors.

These candle holders were designed to hold thin candles and are now beautiful decorative objects.
