Pentacon Penti II, a half‑frame camera with 18×24 mm film format and Domiplan 3.5/30 mm lens, built‑in light meter, tested and functional, in good cosmetic condition.
Description from the seller
You are bidding on an interesting half-format camera.
Penti II white/gold (VEB Pentacon, Dresden)
Manufacturing period: 1961 / 1962
Photo size: 18x24mm (half format)
Lens: Domiplan 3.5 / 30mm
Shutter: -/125
built-in exposure meter
Film transport and tensioning of the closure via a push rod (see photo).
Accessories: original leather case (red), Rapid - cassette
The camera has an interesting design. Even more interesting is the mechanism for film transport and cocking the shutter. For this, a side-mounted push rod is inserted into the housing. After that, the shutter can be triggered again. When triggered, the push rod springs back out.
This camera was a great success for the GDR camera production and also an export hit. It should not be missing from any 35mm camera collection!
Serial number housing: 55053
state
The cosmetic condition can be described as good - very good. The lens is clear and free of scratches; the shutter releases. The settings are smooth. The light meter was not further examined.
The photos are an integral part of the camera description and condition.
