1982 Volkswagen Kombi T2 with a 1600 petrol engine (45 HP), manual transmission, beige with a black pop-up roof, 41,089 km, Brazilian title registration, matching numbers BH717652 and BJ8000038, located in Belgium and sold as-is requiring work to meet European standards.
Description from the seller
What a nice Volkswagen Kombi T2 with a pop-out roof and camper interior.
Lacquered bodywork
The bodywork was renewed a few years ago in the color combination of beige with a black roof and features nice striping, still looking neat without rust. The bottom is solid but could use some finishing, such as (stone chip treatment), to make it perfect again.
Bumpers have minor transport damage, see photo.
Technical condition:
The air-cooled engine is equipped with a double carburetor for extra horsepower. The van runs well; maintenance and inspection before use are recommended, as it has been in collection for a while.
The vehicle can be started easily.
The gearbox shifts smoothly, and the clutch engages well.
The front axle has recently been replaced with a revised front axle, and it has a nice set of sport rims.
Interior condition
Interior equipped with a sofa bed and storage cabinets, further customizable according to your preferences!
Seats have been renewed with new fabric and are therefore in good condition.
Small boxes still equipped with a small sink.
Interior equipped with a pop-up roof with a fly and mosquito net; thanks to this roof, you can easily stand upright in the bus.
This van has been imported from Brazil and still bears the Brazilian license plate. All import duties have been paid, and the customs documents will of course be provided. The van is sold 'as is'. Before it becomes 'road ready', some adjustments and repairs will need to be made to meet all European requirements (such as seat belts, lighting...). This is a private sale, so warranty does not apply. The van must be collected within 14 days after the auction.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
