Frame - Wood - Antique 19th-century wooden frame

Here is an antique carved wooden frame from 19th-century Florence, made near Siena in Poggibonsi, where wood artisans once worked.
The frame is in excellent condition. Gold leaf gilding. It also includes an original inner frame, which is difficult to find today in perfect condition.
The front part of the light is oval.
Spectacular for its age and especially entirely original!!!
They were historically used for portraits or small archaeological items.
The frame and its matting are richly decorated and handcrafted.
The remaining part is not gold leaf due to the high costs in the past.
