Tasmania Exchange Sea shell - Trochus niloticus

Superb and rare, a three-row necklace of yellowish Trochus iridescent shells, strung on cotton thread with recent, solid, and neat re-stringing. It features a beautiful worked brass clasp. Vintage from the mid-20th century, 1960s-1970s, with an antique style, art deco, Victorian... Each end of the rows is adorned with a crystal pearl.

The longest row measures approximately 43 cm, the second around 40 cm, and the shortest about 39 cm. Very good overall condition, although a few small discreet signs of wear can be seen on some shells. Approximately 47 grams.
