Dutch metal table lamp from the 1950s–1960s with an adjustable arm and directional shade, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
Italy - Industrial - 1950-1960
A beautiful and large Italian table lamp, made of chrome steel from the late 1950s. This lamp is approximately 70 cm tall but features an adjustable arm that allows you to illuminate at your desired height. Additionally, the
Adjustable lamp shade with the ability to illuminate in any direction.
Very innovative for those years when the lamps were adjustable in a different way and featured structures in a darker color. It originates from the space age, where the round shape reminded one of the new metal used in
space travel companies
It remains modern in style today.
The base has withstood the test of time, which means it still retains its charm. An element that sets this lamp apart from other similar lamps is the lamp foot, which is made of ceramics instead of plastic, as
with the less old models
Certainly one of the more expensive and/or older versions, from a time when the plastic could not withstand the heat from the lamps.
Working, never repaired, and always the same.
