Extraordinary work by the painter Proferio Grossi (Vignale, March 1, 1923 – Parma, November 4, 2000), oil painting on faesite panel in good condition.
The painting measures 50x35 cm.
The frame is original from the period.
Proferio Grossi was an artist born in Vignale in 1923 and passed away in Parma in 2000. His training took place under the guidance of Atanasio Soldati, leading him towards geometric abstraction. In 1984, he joined the Movimento Arte Concreta. Subsequently, Proferio Grossi made a turning point in his career, also dedicating himself to figurative art, that is, painting objects with significant critical and public acclaim. The final part of Grossi's production is characterized by this dialectic between abstract and figurative.
