However, they have several restorations along fractures they suffered during excavation. These restorations basically consist of filling the fractures. Part of the root of the teeth appears to be partially composited with the rest of the root of another tooth. This is a typical technique used by local excavators to restore teeth. Whatever the case, it is a good authentic example of the amazing dentition of this huge piscivorous dinosaur that reigned during the Cretaceous period in the ecosystems of what is now North Africa.
