Italian Mid-Century Modern bar with rosewood veneer, chromed steel base and working Electrolux fridge (ca. 1965–1970)
Exceptional and rare Italian mid-century modern bar cabinet, produced circa 1965–1970, executed in beautifully grained rosewood veneer (palissander) and resting on a refined chromed steel frame.
This elegant bar combines architectural lines with high-end craftsmanship typical of Lombard workshops (Cantù / Brianza region), an area renowned for luxury furniture production in the post-war period.
The bar features a lift-up top revealing a fully fitted interior with shelves and integrated interior lighting. Behind the right-hand door, the bar houses an original Electrolux minibar refrigerator (model 50FMJ), which is fully functional. Both the refrigerator and the interior cabinet light are in working condition.
The rear panel is fully finished and ventilated, allowing the piece to be placed freely in a room as a room divider — a highly desirable and rare feature.
