About the work

11226 is part of the exhibition series 'A Quiet Life,' which comprises a total of seven works.

It is a poem in seven stanzas. It speaks of finding, the way home, and about that. It also references hope and faith, the prayer of the heart. Thus, it is an invitation to the garden.

The exhibition series was displayed in September 2025 as part of the Gettorfer Art and Creativity Days.

This work, like all others in this exhibition series, features a unique poem created specifically for the purchaser. The poem is handwritten on handmade paper and is enclosed in an envelope accompanying the work.

About the artist

Wladyslav Wilhelm explores in his works the poetry of the present and the channeling of it. Finding through rhythm and depicting through metaphor form the basis of his understanding of the poetic in all forms of expression, deeply inspired by cultures and the individual path of the human soul. Thus, his works aim to invite continuous perspective shifts and dialogue through a process of understanding.

Born in 1995 in the Russian Federation, he has traveled through European countries, North and South America, where he received a formative artistic and technical education, but even more so developed a deep connection with nature and people. Today, Wladyslav lives with his dog Ela by the Baltic Sea in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, where he gardens, creates art, and exhibits his work.
