This Rupert Christmas group comes from the renowned Lepi workshop in Val Gardena. The figures are hand-carved from linden or maple wood with great attention to facial expressions, posture, and detailing. They are carefully polychromed and partially gilded with gold leaf. The group consists of thirteen parts and includes the Holy Family, shepherds, animals, and peripheral figures. One of the three kings is missing; this figure is still available separately from the manufacturer.
