Description from the seller

Two serving bowls, from different makers, but with the same appearance.
A bowl has a Phoenix inner bowl, which is extremely handy for serving a casserole dish, for example.
A scale is marked: JBO&S Ltd, EPNS, and is in very good condition along with the inner scale.

The other mark is: Embassy, Gladwin Ltd Sheffield epns.
Active at Montgomery Works (1921-1925) and Embassy Works (1926-1936). In 1959, Gladwin was acquired by Mappin & Webb and became part of British Silverware Ltd.
The company used the trademarks BRIMET, AMBASSADOR PLATE, and EMBASSY PLATE.
This scale possibly dates from around 1930.

The Embassy scale has sustained damage to an ear on both attachments. This has been repaired, see the photos, and the repair is barely visible, plus the ear is very securely attached. Neither of the scales has been polished anywhere and they are in very good condition, also fitting perfectly.
Weight of both bowls: 2740 grams.
They are long: 29 cm, wide: 21 cm.

The bowls will be very well packaged and shipped with a track & trace code.
