Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox Alarm – 18-carat gold (750/000) – Calibre P489/1 – 1953/1954 – Serviced – Original box.
Rare 1950s two-tone Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox, equipped with the manual caliber P489/1, one of the very first alarm movements developed for a wristwatch.
Emblematic model of the manufacture, here offered in a 18-carat gold (750) configuration with its hallmarks.
18K rose gold 32 mm case with elegant proportions, in very good condition with well-preserved edges.
Original bicolour champagne/silver dial (rare), unrestored, featuring a uniform and natural patina.
Gold applied indexes and Dauphine hands.
Double crown: setting the time at 4 o'clock, setting the alarm at 2 o'clock.
New plexiglass glass.
The watch is powered by the Jaeger-LeCoultre P489/1 movement, serviced at ABP Concept (Paris) in October 2025: complete disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and inspection of the alarm mechanism.
Perfect operation, clear and loud alarm.
