Description from the seller

Replica of Egyptian lapis lazuli amulet (Late Period or Greco-Roman), set in a gold frame
Material: Lapis lazuli, gold
Dimensions: 28 × 17 mm (including the frame)
Condition: Good, with minor wear consistent with age (stone); modern gold mount in excellent condition
Origin: Egypt

An oval lapis lazuli amulet finely carved with a stylised protective motif, possibly derived from the Egyptian ankh symbol of life. Such simplified iconography is characteristic of personal amulets from the Late Egyptian or early Greco-Roman tradition, where traditional Egyptian forms continued with more schematic execution. The stone shows natural colour variations typical of ancient lapis lazuli.
The amulet is mounted in a later, elegant modern gold frame that enhances the original carving without altering its character.

Provenance:
From a private European collection (20th century acquisition).

Notes:
The gold mount is modern. The lapis lazuli intaglio is antique.
Registered and guaranteed shipment.
