Swiss Longines pocket watch, produced approximately in 1917–1918, according to the movement's serial number. A classic example of one of the most prestigious Swiss manufacturers, recognized worldwide for the high quality and reliability of its mechanical movements.
White metal box, approximately 50 mm in diameter, showing wear, scratches, and usage marks consistent with age. Smooth rear lid, with internal marks and visible numbering. The watch is accompanied by a silver pocket chain, included in the lot, vintage or compatible, in good overall condition.
Original dial in white enamel, with black Arabic numerals and a 24-hour scale in red on the outer ring. Small seconds subdial at six o'clock. Longines signature visible on the dial. Steel hands in a classic style. The dial shows fine fissures in the enamel, visible in the photographs, typical of watches of this age, without impairing readability.
Manual winding mechanical movement, Swiss Made, signed Longines. Gold-colored movement, visually complete, with serial number 4627459, corresponding to manufacture circa 1917–1918. Condition consistent with age, with no obvious signs of severe corrosion. Long-term accuracy testing not performed.
