Description from the seller
Fragmented Face # 10
Series: Geometries of Being
Technique: Acrylic on canvas
This work presents a fragmented face constructed from geometric planes that are assembled with nearly architectural precision. The portrait, divided vertically, suggests two complementary views of the same identity, as if the face simultaneously inhabits two emotional or temporal states.
Triangular, rectangular, and curved shapes define the essential features — eye, nose, and mouth — reduced to minimal yet expressive symbols. The central line acts as an axis of tension, separating and at the same time uniting the different facets of the character, reinforcing the idea of inner duality.
The color palette, dominated by soft tones of lavender, beige, deep blue, and accents of orange, brings both serenity and contrast. These colors interact with each other, creating an introspective atmosphere where visual balance is maintained through the relationship between light and shadow, warmth and coolness.
The result is a silent and contemplative image that invites reflection on identity, the fragmentation of the self, and how emotions are constructed from multiple layers. A work that combines modernity and sensitivity, where geometry becomes an emotional portrait.
The canvas is carefully rolled and securely packaged in a sturdy square tube for shipping.
The images you are viewing now are examples of how the artwork might look when framed and hung on a wall.
