Expressive landscape, a 1975 oil painting by Belgian artist Roger De Coster (1934–2021) in the Expressionism style, sold with frame.
Description from the seller
Beautiful, expressively painted oil painting by this artist. Born in Brussels (in 1934) he trained in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels. In the early '80's he made a temporary move to Saudi Arabia, the Arab Emirates and Egypt.

Back in Europe, various exhibitions followed in Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and Italy (in the Biennale international d'Art contemporain, Florence-Italy) where he received the "Special prize for his career".
He died in 2021.
This work is special because of its use of color and expressive technique. It is nicely framed and in perfect condition. The originality of the work was confirmed to me by the artist's widow.
Dimensions are 50cm x 40cm. with frame this is 61cm x 51cm.
